I will come to your home to discuss your vegetable growing needs and availability of sun and space. We will create a growing environment to best meet your family’s needs.

We will remove the weeds and grass from the selected area and lay down cardboard where the beds will be placed to discourage weed growth. The walking path can remain as grass or we can choose from a selection of chips and stone. Landscape fabric will be used - again to discourage weed growth on the paths.

There are also many choices of wood that can be chosen to make the raised beds. The wood in these photos is reclaimed Fir which is 5x2 inches. This allows for the beds to be from 5-25 inches in height. Any wood can be used, again, all made to your specifications.

In this photo, the reclaimed fir was used to make each box 4’x 8’x 15”. The wood was treated with vegetable safe preservative which adds to the longevity of the raised wood boxes.

The soil used is a rich blend including sea soil. I also have Llama manure, cow manure, leaves and organic fertilizer to enhance the soil, once we determine what you want to grow.
